The Custom Shoppe

Workshoppes

If you are a salesperson, designer or manager of a furniture retailer of Custom Shoppe furniture, we invite you to our factory for two power packed days of training!

THE COST: Attendees cover their travel expenses and arrangements to-and-from our factory.  The Custom Shoppe hosts all meals during the Workshoppe and hotel accommodations for Monday night.

A $100 per person deposit is required to guarantee arrival. (Master Card, Visa or checks accepted).

 What Are Workshoppes?

Training Workshoppes are designed to help Custom Shoppe sales teams learn more about the Custom Shoppe product line.

Workshoppes begin with lunch on Monday and end at 2:00pm on Tuesday.  This provides most of our guests enough time to travel on Monday morning and Tuesday evening.

An in-depth factory tour shows attendees first-hand how The Custom Shoppe combines computerized machinery and individual craftsmanship to build furniture one piece at a time.

Small training sessions are facilitated by trained factory representatives.  Group sessions are interactive and the pace is set by the attendees.  Individual attention is available for those who work at a faster or slower pace.

Many other opportunities are filtered into the two day session such as trading ideas with other retailers in a non-competitive environment.

What Attendees Have Said

"It really helped to see the quality as it was being assembled. It adds a very personal touch to be able to tell the customer that I visited the factory. It also helped to see the "gallery" of offices in the factory to see exactly what could be done."

"The staff was very detailed and friendly, making sure that every question and concern was addressed. I learned what I needed to feel comfortable selling the product."

"Without question this was the best factory training experience I have had in my 35+ years in the business. The ability to interact with management and factory workers was a plus."

"It think being with other retailers is also a benefit of the session. Itís good to talk war stories with others."

"Workshoppe really helped to reinforce what I already knew and broadened my knowledge in other areas. Wonderful place, wonderful company, great food!"

"I definitely have more confidence with trying to sell the options."

"This was terrific - I am much more comfortable with Custom Shoppe and I see more opportunities to use it."

"Nice to be able to discuss current operations, talk with other retailers about their approach to the retail side, and also speak with the manufacturer that wants input and will implement changes."

"The two days were well-scheduled, the pace was good, and the change from lecture to projects worked well."
